Spa Home Facial Steamer Sauna Review - Worth It or Worthless????

I was excited to receive this facial steamer. When I opened the box it looked perfect and I could smell the Frankincense and Mryhh very clearly. I do like the smell but just as a warning for those sensitive to heavy scents, it is a very strong smell. This was super easy to set up, which was good because the instructions or lack there of, are no help at all. I added the water waited about 3-5 minutes and it started to steam. 

 

 This doesn't produce buckets of steam, which i personally prefer in a facial steamer because I don't like everything in the area to be exposed to heat and humidity. The steam was great the essential oil helped open pours and cleanse my skin well. I have very dry skin so I only use this for 5 minutes at a time. I've been using it this way for 3 weeks now and have not noticed any ill effect or over drying to my dry sensitive skin. Quite the opposite actually. My skin is brighter, cleaner, and less flaky. Another awesome use is for colds and allergies!! I have very bad allergies and so does my son and we have both used this to clear our sinuses. 

 

 I love that it has 2 power levels as well. The low level is great for kids and doesn't over power them!! I would recommended this product just wish the instructions were a bit clearer. I got this facial steamer for free for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Other essential oils that are good for using in facial steamers 

• For oily skin: For big budgets, Neroli (Citrus aurantium var. amara). For low budgets, Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium var. amara). You may have noticed that these are the same plant – the bitter orange tree – and you would be right. Neroli is steam-distilled from the bitter orange blossoms, while Petitgrain is steam-distilled from the twigs and leaves. Neroli has a much more exquisite and refined scent, and is therefore much pricier, while Petitgrain is much lower cost (but also effective!).
• For sensitive skin: For bigger budgets, German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita). For medium budgets, Blue Tansy (Tanacetum annuum), which also has azulene content and is blue.
• For dry skin: If you have mucho dinero, Sandalwood (Santalum album). If no tengo dinero, then Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii).
• For hormonal skin: Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), or equal parts Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea) and Marjoram (Origanum majorana). For hormonal balancing Rose Otto (Rosa damascena), but again, you have to be willing to pay way up. Rose is the most precious and expensive essential oil in the world.
• For breakouts: Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus), Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), or Spike Lavender (Lavandula latifolia). Plain Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) also works well. Other citruses (like Grapefruit – Citrus paradisi – or Lemon – Citrus limon) are also great for encouraging those whiteheads to come to the surface. Normally, you don’t put citrus essential oils directly on the skin because they can be phototoxic (they make the skin more sensitive to the sun), but in a steam, you are not doing that. Still, if you want to be careful, you can do it before bedtime.
• For faster healing of acne scars: For big budgets, Immortelle (Helichrysm italicum) essential oil is the best. It’s the most cell proliferant, most skin-rejuvenating essential oil I know. For lower budgets, Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) will also do the job – but good, organic Lavender is not necessarily “cheap” either.

I have been amazed by the Anaiti line!!! This moisturizer is no exception. It leaves my very dry skin so hydrated and beautiful!! I wouldn't believe how well it worked if I hadn't tried it myself. So give it a try to be amazed like I have been. It's well worth the price to feel this beautiful all day long!!! Nura Natural 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil Review Worth It or Worthless?

I have very dry skin and I'm on a constant search to find a product to keep my skin hydrated and looking healthy. When this first arrived I loved the box right away. It's a beautifully made heavy cardboard box, which to me shows the company takes pride in what they put out. The bottle is a dark green glass dropper bottle. Again, I love this because glass keeps the product pure, and you don't have to worry about any leaching like from plastic bottles. The green glass protects the product from being altered by sunlight or other light sources as well. So, the product's packaging alone gets 10 stars from me. So much effort went into making it beautiful and functional at the same time.

As for the rose hip oil it's 100% pure oil. There is a very, very light smell nothing that bother me and i'm really sensitive to smells. I choose to mix this in with my night cream. I take out the night cream i'm going to use and mix it with 3 drops of the rose hip oil, works like a charm and goes on beautifully. My skin is definitely more hydrated in the morning. I've had less of a problem with dry patchy skin between my eye brows and around my nose. Also, worth noting is that i have very sensitive skin and have had no problems what so ever with this. This is a little oily but it's great for dry skin to be a bit oily. Overall, this has helped hydrate my skin more and reduce my dry patches on my face. I received this product free for review purposes, but all opinions are my own.

Worth It Or Worthless?

Worth It for dry skin, I'm not sure how great this would be for oily or acne prone skin because of the oiliness.  From the research I have done on this Rose Hip oil is best for dry. sensitive, and wrinkled skin.  It should be avoided or used very sparingly if you have oily or acne prone skin.  Please make sure to check with your dermatologist before starting any new skin care regimen if you have any special skin concerns though.

Anaiti The Advanced Age-Defying Serum Review- Worth It or Worthless ???

 

 

I've had the privilege of testing the Anaiti Advanced Age-Defying Serum over the past month.  This is the second product for their skincare line that I've tried.  This product is just as amazing as the Wrinkle Smoothing Serum.  I really didn't think that I could love another product as much as the wrinkle smoothing serum, but WOW did they create another perfect product, geared directly at aging skin!  This targets saggy, baggy, and wrinkled skin and ZAPS it back into its youthful, smooth and radiant form.

I have very dry skin, and because of that my skin seems to age more rapidly.  After I passed 30 my skin became even drier and I knew I needed something to save my skin.  So I sent out a skin S.O.S, I've tried so many products with little to no results.  Then I was offer the opportunity to try this serum out and WOW!  This has been my skins saving grace.  it has revived my dull and lackluster skin and made it vibrant again.  I saw results in a week.  I have continued to see result too, my skins is more hydrated, smooth, radiant and more even.  It absorbs quickly, and has a very light citrus smell, which fades quickly after application.  I really like that unlike other serums this has a very thick lotion like look and feel.

My only complaint about this product is the packaging.  I also own the Anaiti Wrinkle smoothing Serum ( which i also highly recommend, it's a miracle worker in a small bottle).  The problem is that the bottles are exactly the same, minus the product name on the front. I always have to do a double take to make sure i'm grabbing the correct product.  Though, i must if the only thing i can complain about is the packaging then Anaiti must be doing something very very right!  I am very picky about my skincare products and have a hard time finding things that work great on my skin.

Anaiti New Instant Wrinkle Smoothing Serum Testing and Review !!!

 

I was super excited to be accepted to test out Anaiti New Instant Wrinkle Smoothing Serum!!! I have now left my 20's and i have been noticing more and more fine lines and wrinkles popping up on my face, neck and hands.  The worst offending wrinkles are on my forehead; my expression lines.  I have a few expressions for them but they aren't very nice.  I wanted to give this product a fair shake so I have been using it for a full 30 days, with updates on day 15 and 30.

 How I will use it:  I will apply the Anaiti New Instant Wrinkle Smoothing Serum  2x's a day morning and night.  I am not changing any of my skincare regimen except for adding this into the mix.

First impressions:

 This serum has a very light citrus smell which I find in almost all products that have vitamin C in them.  The product is a clear liquid that goes on smoothly and blends in well to the skin.  It is a little sticky on the skin before it drys all the way, so please be aware if applying makeup right afterwards.  I would wait to apply makeup for about 10 minutes after application.  It also leaves the skin a bit shiny.  Overall,  though this Anaiti Serum helps to improve the skins color and texture from day one !!  My skin felt fresh and hydrated after applying.  I was also quite impressed with the high quality ingredient list which includes:

Matirixyl ( penapeptide-4) which stimulates the production of collagen and has been shown to reduce wrinkle depth by 68%!!!

Renovage which helps reduce pigmentation by 56% after 6 months use and also helps with skin firmness after only 30 days ( hoping this helps my neck) !!!

This product also contain vitamin C and vitamin B3 which help to reduce skin pigmentation and water loss, stimulating collagen production.  This serum help reduce pore size and to protect the skin from UV damage.  I also noticed that this product is certified organic which as an environmentally conscious consumer is awesome!  I'm always more willing to buy products that are organic, it makes me feel like I'm using something that is good for my skin and body.

My skin is looking brighter and healthier, my wrinkles are looking less defined in just 15 days!!  Can't wait to see what day 30 brings :D

Update 2 (Final 30 day results)

Day 30: June 21, 2015

So, after 30 days,  I see a huge improvement in my forehead lines.  It's amazing how much they have diminished over the last month !!! I also used this product on my hands and they are looking less aged as well.  My neck is showing less saggy and bagginess, though I don't see much different from day 15 to day 30, but the different from day one is amazing !!! My skin is firmer, tighter and has an overall brighter appearance!  I think my pictures speak for themselves.

So, in conclusion I would highly recommend this product.  My skin looks amazing and I have had marvelous results.  I know everyone's skin is different and responds differently to different products but this has done wonders for me and I feel it can do the same for so many other women and men out there!

 Use & Care (from My Konjac's website):

- Before use rinse and soak sponge until it becomes soft

- Use with or without facial cleanser and gently massage face in a circular motion

-Rinse after use, then squeeze out the water (do not wring!! ) Then hang it in a well ventilated area to air dry

-The sponge can be sanitized by placing it in a bowl of water and microwaving for 1:30 minutes.   It is recommended to sanitize it every 2 weeks

-Your sponge should last up to 3 months but once it starts to break down it should be replaced, the sponge can be composted after use!!

Banana Boat SunComfort Spf 30 review for crowdtap

 BANANA BOAT SUNCOMFORT SPF 30 SUNSCREEN REVIEW !!!

 My family usually uses a sunscreen that is at least 50 spf, so that was a little disappointing with this sunscreen from Banana Boat, but overall this sunscreen even though a lower spf worked well.  Just as some background I live in an area of Southern California that get well into the 100's during the summer and today was no different.  Today's high was 101 degrees so we decided to go to the water park to cool down.  I figured this was the perfect time to test out this new product from Banana Boat!!!  First, i love spray on sunscreen, it makes it so much easier to apply to children that hate rubbing greasy cream lotions all over themselves.  The locking top is also nice, as I have had a spray on sunscreen empty itself out in my travel bag before because the top was pressed down by things laying on top of it. Worth noting was that this formula was a bit slick and greasy after applying but the greasiness was gone after wearing for about 20 minutes.  My son keep saying how soft his skin felt and kept telling me to feel how soft his skin was, it was as if he was shocked at how silky his skin felt.  His skin was super soft and silky more so than I've ever felt from any other sunscreen, and that was a nice surprise.  We were out in the sun for 3 1/2 hours and i reapplied this sunscreen 3-4 times ( i reapplied more often than recommended because of the lower spf and high temps)
I have read some reviews that this sunscreen did not work, or that it was not great in body creases, we did not have this problem, we had no sun burns or any other problems with this sunscreen.  I also think that people might have run into problems because they spray it on, but either a) don't let it sit for 10-15 before activity or water or B) don't rub it in around body creases like shoulders or armpits.

Not Your Mother's amazing new Déjà Vu 'Do Style Extender Review!!!

 This product is an amazing product, i was skeptical of it because every product I've tried to "extend" my hairstyle has fallen flat literally.  This product has changed my mind about these types of products.  My hair is usually flat by lunch, if i'm lucky it will last till 3 pm but that's about it, and if it's hot outside forget it my hair is flat and frizzy before i even leave the house.  I have used this product a dew times now and every time my hair has looked full and styled the whole day, and i have woken up the next day and re styled my hair with no problem.  The works great smells great and isn't tacky or stick on your hair; which i hate.

I give this product a 9/10 stars
